The ARC of MD is the Maryland branch of the ARC, the primary advocacy group of and for individuals with disabilities.  Both individuals and family members are driving forces of the ARC

MACS is the professional association of service providers in Maryland.  It advocates for increased services for individuals with disabilities and provides training and quality improvement resources.

Association of Community Services Howard County

ACS is the umbrella organization of community service agencies and advocates in Howard County.  This website is a valuable referral to locate many different service types.

AAMR

AAMR is the national organization for professionals in the field of intellectual disability (MR).

TASH is a national advocacy and resource organization that has promoted inclusion of individuals with disabilities in their communities for 30+ years.
